It’s been a crazy last few days. I sent out a lesson to Blog Mastermind students about direct advertising and it was a huge lesson, more than 5,000 words, plus an extra video and audio – there is so much to teach about making money with blogs!
In between finishing that lesson for the current students I’ve also been putting together a few resources to give to the public because I’ve decided to close the Blog Mastermind doors to new students on Monday, December 10.
Yep, that’s right – I won’t be taking on any new students from Monday and only the people in the program now or who join before Monday will get to complete their training.
I must say that the course has come together very nicely, I think there is something in it for everybody if you are interested in making blogging an income source and a lifestyle.
How To Market Your Blog With Conversations
I know a lot of people are not sure whether Blog Mastermind is right for them, so rather than send out a bunch of emails and blog posts telling people how good it is, I decided to release one of the lessons to the public and let you make a decision for yourself.
You can read and/or listen to the lesson here –
Lesson 11: Marketing With Conversations
The lesson covers the most popular topic in blogging – how to get traffic. It’s actually the very first lesson on traffic in the program and introduces you to some core concepts about building an audience and then teaches you one of the most powerful yet simple techniques available. I actually debunk a few myths about this particular traffic technique, because sadly, most bloggers get it wrong.
From that point forward in the program there are another eight lessons on building traffic, then the we dive into monetization.
If you want to see what sort of content and structure Blog Mastermind contains, this free lesson should give you a good idea. Note that most lessons also have a video or additional audio component as well (lessons come in audio and text format). All lessons have actions steps at the end so you know what you have to do after the lesson is done.
Remember, the doors to Blog Mastermind close on Monday, so if you want to join, you have to decide between now and then. There is a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you don’t like it, there is no risk, plus you can cancel at any point beyond the first month.
The program goes for six months and you get one lesson per week, plus lots of extra resources like interviews with professional bloggers, my Master The Mindset audio series, case study videos where I review the blogs of students and offer recommendations to help them improve their performance, plus loads more.
If any of this is appealing, please check out the free lesson and consider signing up. Here’s that free preview lesson again.

Yaro…I am curious why you want to close it to new students? I would assume that the lessons are already written and that most of it is setup on an autoresponder?
If the workload is too much….consider a “certification” process for others to help you share the workload maybe?
Just a thought. I am considering joining myself and I would hate for it to close and I would also hate to lose the chance to be an affiliate for it.
Just a thought or two. Enjoy your blog a lot…it’s very inspirational….I am just getting started and have a ton of work left to do but most importantly I am having FUN.
whoa, I like this one…
beside of “why you want to close it to new students”
I think it should make your class being high class, and that’s good image rite?
@Yaro
anyway, how can I join , if I’m at Indonesia, did U provide e- learning ?
once again.. Could I know Ur opinion about my Blog ? http://road-entrepreneur.com
thanks a lot
Hi Bill,
I should have explained why I’m closing (I forget, not everyone is on my newsletter where I explained why)…
Basically we need to make a few tweaks to the technology that delivers the program and we are also switching the affiliate system over to a new system.
This process takes time and while it won’t effect the current students, it’s a lot easier if we don’t have new students coming no board during the transition.
I also want to make a lot of little tweaks to the presentation process, so this upgrade will take time.
I expect to open the doors again in 2008, but it may not be for several months and the price will definitely be going up because there are a ton of resources in the program now. This is the last chance to get in at $77.
I definitively want to join to your program, but I must finish a project I have until February. I hope you do open your program again in 2008, because it would be very sad for me if you don’t.
@ Arham
Take a look at the BlogMastermind.com page and you will see the contents. It’s all digital delivery – yes, e-learning.
I’m happy to review your blog, but I spend my review time looking at the student’s blogs in my program, since they are paying for my help.
I have a section in the members forum where you can nominate your blog for a review and highlight what areas you want help with.
@Omar
At the moment it’s looking like Blog Mastermind won’t open back up for as long as 6 months, so if you want to join you might consider it now rather than later.
Remember you can join now, save the lessons in a folder and study all the resources when you are ready. That way you lock in the current price as well, since it’s definitely going up when it reopens.
As far as internet traffice is concern first conderation that you should undertake is your blog title it should be related to your content because some search engine look into and then the keywords that you use it is the most important part in genrating traffic, you can have this ketwords by searching and after that decide on what keyword that you should use inorder to generate traffic into your blog, and lastly build an image or good reputation in the internet.
